Caden Lane is looking for a data-savvy, lifecycle-loving retention marketer to build deep customer relationships and drive loyalty. If you dream in flows, get fired up about A/B tests, and know exactly when to send that "just checking in, mama" email—this might be your moment.
This role is equal parts strategy and storytelling, segmentation and surprise & delight. You'll own the full customer retention journey, turning one-time shoppers into raving fans and building a best-in-class experience that keeps our customers (and their carts) coming back again and again.
What You'll Do
- Own the lifecycle marketing strategy across email, SMS, push, and loyalty programs
- Build and optimize automated flows and personalized campaigns that surprise, delight, and convert
- Create segmented journeys based on behavior, purchase history, milestones, and parenting phases
- Launch creative retention campaigns (think birthdays, due dates, registry journeys, and "baby's firsts") that resonate deeply with our customers
- Partner cross-functionally with creative, product, and CX to align messaging across every touchpoint
- Analyze performance metrics and retention KPIs to identify gaps and unlock new revenue opportunities
- Own retention KPIs, including CLTV, AOV, and repeat purchase rate, with a path to build a team as we scale
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in retention, CRM, or lifecycle marketing, DTC or baby/family brand experience a plus
- Proven track record building automated journeys, testing creative hypotheses, and owning retention KPIs
- Deep, hands-on experience with Klaviyo, Attentive, or similar platforms
- Equal parts left brain / right brain, you love data, but also love a good pun & feel comfortable with copywriting.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management skills
Bonus Points If You...
- Have built loyalty or referral programs from scratch
- Understand key parenting lifecycle triggers (like baby registries, new arrivals, or gift givers)
- Have a sixth sense for when a customer is about to ghost, and what message brings them back
